Pickle1 Pickleball About Us

Founded by passionate pickleball players, our love for pickleball began in Summer 2023 when our friends invited us to play in Central Park. We were able to quickly pick up the motions and rules, and by the end of our one-hour session, we were hooked. After putting in numerous hours of gameplay throughout the summer, our new hobby came to an abrupt halt when it turned cold. The lack of indoor courts in New York City led us to explore the idea of opening our own facility, and after months of looking, we found our dream facility in the heart of downtown Manhattan.

At Pickle1, our mission is to bring people together through the love of pickleball and creating a community in NYC where players of all skill levels and backgrounds feel connected, inspired, and empowered. We are dedicated to fostering inclusivity, promoting healthy lifestyles, and growing the sport by providing exceptional programs and resources that unite individuals on and off the court. Together, we are one sport, one passion, one community.
